What is Redline?

REDLINE makes performance-focused grooming products for men who want their routine to fit the rest of their day. Each product has a clear job, so you can choose the cleansing, control, texture or fragrance that suits you.

Why did Redline create a grooming system?

The R-Series separates cleansing, preparation, structure and finishing texture into different jobs. That makes it easier to build the result you want without expecting one product to do everything.

Are Redline products only for athletes?

No. Redline is inspired by athletes and made for everyday routines, including work, workouts and changing plans. Choose products for your hair and desired result.

Where are Redline products made?

Redline grooming products are manufactured in the United States. You can find product-specific directions on each product page.

What is the difference between R-20 and R-30?

R-20 Primer Paste gives medium, flexible hold and a natural finish, and helps build direction while drying. R-30 Structure Clay gives higher hold, stronger definition and a matte finish; either can be used on its own.

Do I need the whole R-Series?

No. Start with the smallest routine that gets the result you want. Add another product only when it has a specific job, such as stronger structure or extra root lift.

What order do I use the products in?

When using the full routine, cleanse with R-10, pre-style with R-20, shape with R-30 and finish with R-40. Your hair must be completely dry before the powder, and you can skip any step you do not need.

Is the shampoo required before I use clay or powder?

No. R-10 is the cleansing option when you need to remove sweat, oil or buildup, but it is not a requirement for the stylers. Start with hair in a suitable condition for the product, and use powder only on completely dry hair.

Which product should I start with?

Choose R-20 for natural, flexible control; R-30 for stronger matte hold; or R-40 for root lift and dry texture. If buildup is the problem, start with R-10; which result are you trying to achieve?

Which product is strongest?

R-30 Structure Clay has the highest hold in the current R-Series. R-20 and R-40 provide medium hold, with different jobs: flexible preparation and targeted lift.

Which product is best for thin hair?

If you mean fine strands or flat roots, R-40 is a useful starting option for lift and fuller-looking texture, used very lightly on dry hair. If you mean thinning or reduced density, it can help the style look fuller but is not a hair-growth treatment.

Which product works best for thick hair?

If thick hair needs stronger control and definition, start with R-30 Structure Clay. Spread a small amount thoroughly, then add only where you need more structure; R-20 is optional if you also need help establishing direction while drying.

Which product adds the most volume at the roots?

R-40 Texture Powder is the targeted root-lift option. Apply a light amount to completely dry hair; R-20 with blow-drying can help establish the shape first if you need it.

Which product gives a natural everyday look?

Start with R-20 Primer Paste for medium hold, flexible control and a natural finish. Work a small amount through towel-dried hair and shape as it dries; it may be all you need.

Can I use Redline on curly or wavy hair?

Choose according to the result you want: R-20 for flexible direction or R-30 for stronger structure. Are you trying to keep natural movement or create more defined shape?

How do I use R-10 Reset Shampoo?

Apply a small amount to thoroughly wet hair, massage the scalp and roots, work through the lengths and rinse completely. Repeat only when heavier buildup remains.

Can I use R-10 every day?

R-10 is designed for daily cleansing, but you do not have to wash daily. Adjust the schedule to your hair, scalp, activity and how much product you use.

Do I need conditioner after R-10?

Use a conditioner suited to your hair if you need extra softness or help with tangles. R-10 provides the cleansing step.

How much R-20 should I use?

Start with a small amount, around a fingertip scoop as a general starting point, and use less for fine or short hair. Spread it between your palms, distribute it fully and assess before adding more.

Should R-20 go on damp or dry hair?

For pre-styling, use R-20 on towel-dried hair and shape while blow-drying. The education guide also allows a small dry-hair touch-up, but damp-hair preparation is the main routine.

Do I need a blow-dryer with R-20?

No. You can air-dry after applying a small amount. Blow-drying gives you more control over direction, volume and finished shape.

How do I use R-30 Structure Clay?

Warm a small amount between your palms and distribute it through your hair before shaping. Use dry hair for stronger matte control, or slightly damp hair for a more flexible result.

Can I restyle R-30 during the day?

Yes. Try reshaping it with your fingers first; the product already in your hair may provide enough control. Add more only if a specific area still needs structure.

How do I wash the clay out?

Shampoo thoroughly and rinse completely, repeating only if heavier buildup remains. R-10 Reset Shampoo is Redline’s option for removing styling residue, sweat and excess oil.

How do I apply R-40 Texture Powder?

Apply a very light amount near the roots of completely dry hair, or dispense into your palms and work through with fingertips. Lift and shape, then add a little more only where needed.

Can I put R-40 on wet hair?

Let your hair dry completely first. If you use paste or clay, finish drying and shaping before adding powder for targeted lift and separation.

Can I use R-40 by itself?

Yes. R-40 can provide root lift, dry texture and a matte finish with medium hold on its own. Start lightly on completely dry hair.

Can I combine Primer Paste and Texture Powder?

Yes. Use R-20 on towel-dried hair to establish direction, let the hair dry completely, then add R-40 only where you want more lift or dry texture. Stop after R-20 if the result is already right.

Why does my hair feel heavy after styling?

You may have too much product or buildup, so stop adding more and reassess. If the hair feels coated, wash and restart with a smaller amount; apply each product only for the job you need.

How do I create a short textured style?

Warm a small amount of R-30 between your palms, distribute through dry hair, then use your fingers to create separation. Add a little R-40 only if the roots still need lift.

How do I get a natural side part?

Work a small amount of R-20 through towel-dried hair and guide the part with a brush or comb while drying. Add R-30 only if you want firmer matte structure after the hair is dry.

Will these products protect my hair from heat or last all day through sweat?

R-20 helps establish shape while blow-drying and R-30 provides high hold, but I cannot promise a specific heat-protection rating or an unchanged style through every workout. Use the product directions and choose hold according to your hair and routine.

What is included in the R-Series Kit?

The kit includes R-10 Reset Shampoo, R-20 Primer Paste, R-30 Structure Clay and R-40 Texture Powder. You can use the components individually or combine only the steps you need.

Is X-01 included in the kit?

X-01 Octane is a separate fragrance and is not listed among the four R-Series Kit products. Check the current kit listing for any offer-specific additions.

What does X-01 Octane smell like?

It opens with bergamot, pineapple and marine notes, moves into aromatic herbs, jasmine and tobacco leaf, then dries down to vanilla, tonka bean and smoked woods. The overall profile is fresh and aquatic at first, with a warmer woody finish.

How many sprays of Octane should I use?

The published directions suggest starting with 2-3 sprays on clean, dry skin at the neck and wrists. Adjust to your preference, let it dry naturally and avoid rubbing it in.

How long does Octane last?

Wear time varies with your skin, environment and application. Redline does not specify a guaranteed number of hours in the product FAQ.

Can I return Octane if I do not like the scent?

Contact support@redlinegrooming.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and how much you tried. For an opened fragrance, our team will confirm your refund or exchange options and the appropriate return route. Please do not mail fragrance back without shipping instructions.

Does the tobacco note mean Octane contains nicotine?

Tobacco leaf is listed as a fragrance note, which describes the scent rather than the full ingredient formula. I cannot infer nicotine content from that note; contact the team if you need a confirmed ingredient answer.

Do you ship to Canada?

Canada is listed in the store’s shipping configuration. Enter your address at checkout to confirm available service for your items and the total shipping charge, especially if the order includes fragrance.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping options and charges appear at checkout before you pay. Use the rate for your delivery address and cart rather than an estimated flat charge.

Do you offer free shipping over $75?

Check checkout for the shipping offer that applies to your cart and destination before paying. I cannot confirm a $75 offer for every order from the current published shipping policy.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Check the dispatch and delivery estimates shown for your order; preparation time and carrier transit time are separate. No fixed delivery window is stated in the published policy, and international customs can add time.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import tax?

You may need to pay destination duties or import taxes unless checkout says they are included. Contact the team before ordering if the total import cost is unclear.

Where is my order?

Use the secure order-status or Track my order option and complete any sign-in requested by the platform. Your shipment confirmation includes tracking after dispatch; if a parcel is missing or delayed, contact the team with your order number.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Contact the team immediately with your order number. Address changes cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment has started.

What happens if I try the product and do not like it?

Contact support@redlinegrooming.com within 30 days of delivery and tell us what did not work and how much you used. For an opened product, our team will confirm the refund or exchange options for your item. Please wait for instructions before returning it.

Who pays for return shipping?

For a satisfaction or change-of-mind return, you pay return postage if a return is required, and original shipping is generally not refunded. REDLINE covers necessary return shipping for damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied items; the team will confirm the instructions.

When will an approved refund reach me?

The team aims to inspect returns and issue approved refunds within 3 business days of receipt. Your payment provider can take additional time; card refunds commonly take 7-10 business days after issue.

My order arrived damaged or with the wrong product. What should I do?

Contact support@redlinegrooming.com promptly with your order number and photos if available, and keep the product and packaging until you receive instructions. The team will assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy; the voluntary guarantee period does not remove your statutory rights.
